TESTIMONIALS
The Metroids: "Everyone in SC: Play the Haunted Hive. Tons of good vibes to be had. I love it."

Cains and Abels: "Your town treated me so nice. Every single person at the show, except for that kid who smoked red pepper flakes at the pizza place, bought my cd. I actually made better money in your city than any other place on that whole 'tour.' It was way nice." & "My show in Charleston, South Carolina ruled hard. I'm in the south. Old buildings are crumbly here.."

Sam Rosen: "charleston is awesome. best show ever. thank you for everyone who came and made it so much fun. the cops showed, the booze flowed, the place was packed, kim and jodie delivered. de-li-vered. i hope to meet you all again when you aren't being ushered out by the cops. your town rules. love, sam"

Nat Baldwin: "the charleston show ruled! remains #1 of tour thus far."

Emily from Martha Dumptruck Massacre: "charleston showed us one of the best times of our tour this summer, too (only second to newburyport/amesbury, of course of course). those kids rock so damn hard!"

YACHT: I had never played a house show so intimate, so personal...

Tender Forever: "Then it was Charleston and that was a lot of fun cause we played in this really cool old museum of communication surrounded by the first cameras, radios and TV. A lot of kids showed up, danced and Calvin actually played in the park cause it was so hot and nice outside."

Mt. Smaller: "we had no idea what to expect from the show but we showed up and there were so many people that it seemed like the porch was going to fall down and then everyone treated us so nicely. kids danced a lot and you made us incredible food."

Lidia Stone: "it was definitely one of the best that we played on our southern tour. hope we can come through charleston again, soon!"

Comedy option: Mike Tamburo: "I think you are too lazy to book shows and I promise that any band or musician that I know (which is a lot) will never play in Charleston. You are lucky I did not attack you."

"If you have a show with a poor turnout, never worry that it's the worst night that band's ever seen, or that it will necessarily reflect very poorly on your house or venue or entire city. Most likely, the band knows from their own experiences back home that every town runs hot and cold, and if they've toured a bit, they know that you sometimes play unexpectedly huge shows in little towns or dead shows in big cities with hyped scenes, and there's not much rhyme or reason." --DJ Rick
